Gregorio Sustainability, LLC is a certified WBE based in New York that offers diverse energy and sustainability consulting services.

Eugenia Gregorio, Founder and Principal of Gregorio Sustainability, is a sustainability executive with 20 years of experience -- delivering high-performance assets while creating value for stakeholders, with a focus in commercial real estate and construction sectors.

Ms. Gregorio, in collaboration with trusted partners, works with clients to design and implement sustainability programs with industry-leading results by fostering coalitions through public-private partnerships, inspiring people to engage in their communities, and reducing environmental impact -- focused on energy efficiency, renewable energy, water efficiency, waste management, and alternative transportation. She is a multi-lingual team leader with extensive public speaking experience.

Previous Experience

As the Vice President of Strategy and Sustainability at The Tower Companies for nearly a decade, Eugenia Gregorio led the commercial real estate and property management firm’s efforts to elevate and play a leadership role in the industry, address climate change and health challenges, and inspire people and communities to step up their sustainability game.

Before working in-house for a CRE firm, Ms. Gregorio worked in project management roles for international construction consulting firms and general contractors, including Lend Lease, on a wide range of public and private construction projects valued at more than 70 million dollars.

She brings a unique skill set to all of her clients, blending first-hand, executive-level experience at a real estate and property management organization with a practical engineering and construction management background that allows her to understand the full life cycle from asset development through building operations.

Industry Leadership

Ms. Gregorio has been sharing her passion and expertise with the real estate and construction industries throughout her entire career with 25+ case studies, numerous public sector and NGO collaborations, and 50+ public speaking engagements with industry organizations such as BE-Ex, REBNY, NAIOP, BOMA, SEIA, NESEA, ACEEE, CREW, ULI, IMT, NRDC, EPA, DOE, and USGBC.

Ms. Gregorio has held leadership positions on committees with USGBC, NAIOP, and IREM.  She was appointed by the Mayor of the District of Columbia to serve on the District's Green Building Advisory Council from 2014-2019, where she advised the Mayor’s Office and District Office of Energy & Environment, and she received the Award of Excellence for Member of the Year from the USGBC NCR Chapter in 2011.

She is an established leader in fostering coalitions and collaborating through public-private partnerships.  In 2019, Ms. Gregorio worked with public and private sector stakeholders to help shape the District of Columbia's historic Clean Energy legislation, which established a requirement of 100% renewable energy by 2032.  For many years, she was also an active leader in Montgomery County, Maryland by bringing industry and government groups together to create win-win green building policies.
